Paintless dent repair is the process of removing minor dents, dings, and creases from a vehicle, using dent tools while maintaining the integrity of the paint finish.

 

 

Good candidates for this process include:

• Smooth, shallow dings, dishes, dents, and creases ranging in diameter from a dime-sized dent to a basketball size dent

• Dents in plastic bumpers have no holes, tears, of paint damage and are still fully affixed to the vehicle

 

Areas that cannot be repaired using the PDR process include:

• Sharp dings, dents, and creases that have been stretched too deep

• Areas reinforced with a double metal such as the edges of a vehicle's doors, hood, and trunk

• Damage on the edge of a body panel

• Dents with extensive paint damage,  cracked or broken paint

• Cars that have been repainted and filled with body filler are not a good candidate

• Metal/chrome bumpers
